Pumpkin Spice Smoothie
A nice and easy treat for the fall! Use pumpkin or any winter squash that you have to make this fun smoothie.
• 1/2 cup winter squash puree
• 1 ½ cup bananas
• ½ cup milk
• ½ cup plain yogurt
• 1 tbsp maple syrup
• ¼ tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
• ½ cup ice (optional)
1. Make winter squash puree.
-Cut squash in half, remove all seeds (save and roast).
-Place on a foil lined baking tray, drizzle with a small amount of oil.
-Place face down and roast for 40-45 minutes in a 400-degree oven.
-Let cool. Scoop the squash insides into a blender.
2. Add all other ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
Top with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks for an added treat!
