Classic Tzatziki


  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 cucumber
  • Juice from one fresh lemon or 2 tablespoons commercial lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste


  1. Finely chop the cucumber.
  2. Mix chopped cucumber with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Serve chilled with pita bread or as a dip with veggies, crackers, or chips.
